Data Scientist
You will design, train, and validate ensemble models that forecast material performance, carbon outcomes, and climate risk. You will work with domain experts and engineers to ship models that are correct, explainable, and useful.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain data pipelines for satellite, sensor, and lab data
• Develop forecasting models and uncertainty estimates
• Design experiments and benchmarks with clear success metrics
• Partner with product to turn research into features
• Present methods and results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Uphold our standards for transparency, ethics, and privacy
Qualifications
• 3+ years in data science or applied ML, or equivalent research experience
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML tooling
• Background in one or more: materials science, climate science, geospatial analytics, time-series modeling
• Experience deploying models to production and monitoring performance
• Excellent communication and documentation habits

Software Engineer
Build the core platform that turns climate and materials data into decisions. You will ship reliable services, APIs, and user features used by engineers, scientists, and sustainability teams.
Responsibilities
• Design and build backend services and APIs for data, modeling, and auth
• Implement clean, accessible product features in a modern web stack
• Write tests, automate CI, monitor performance, and resolve issues fast
• Partner with scientists, data engineers, and product on specs and delivery
• Maintain security, privacy, and auditability in everything you ship
Qualifications
• 4+ years in software development with production ownership
• Strong skills in Python or TypeScript plus a web framework you love
• Experience with cloud infra, containers, and IaC
• Solid grasp of testing, observability, and code reviews
• Clear communication in a remote setting

Climate Scientist
Develop trusted climate insights for our platform. You will translate research into usable forecasts and metrics that help teams plan and adapt.
Responsibilities
• Build and validate models for extremes, downscaling, and scenario analysis
• Integrate CMIP6, ERA5, satellite, and in-situ data with clear provenance
• Quantify uncertainty and communicate limitations
• Create methods docs and review notebooks others can reproduce
• Collaborate with product to turn science into features and visuals
Qualifications
• Graduate training or equivalent experience in climate or atmospheric science
• Strong skills in Python, xarray, NumPy, and scientific workflows
• Experience with geospatial data formats and tooling
• Ability to explain complex results to non-experts

Product Manager
Own outcomes from problem discovery to shipped value. You will align user needs, science, and engineering to deliver products customers love.
Responsibilities
• Lead discovery with R&D, sustainability, and operations users
• Define clear problem statements, metrics, and success criteria
• Write concise PRDs and keep the roadmap visible and current
• Run lightweight experiments and incorporate learning quickly
• Drive launches, enable go-to-market, and gather post-launch feedback
Qualifications
• 4+ years in product management at a data or platform company
• Strong user research and prioritization skills
• Comfort working with technical teams and scientific content
• Excellent written communication and async collaboration

UI/UX Designer
Design clear, beautiful interfaces for complex data. You will own flows, systems, and visuals that make insights obvious and actions simple.
Responsibilities
• Create end-to-end flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Design data visualizations for uncertainty, scenarios, and tradeoffs
• Maintain a reusable design system with accessibility as a default
• Prototype and run quick studies to validate usability
• Partner with engineering to ship pixel-accurate, performant UI
Qualifications
• 3+ years designing B2B or data-heavy products
• Strong information architecture and accessibility skills
• Portfolio that shows thoughtful problem solving and systems thinking
• Clear writing and async collaboration

Data Engineer
Build reliable pipelines and datasets that power models and product features. You will ensure data is timely, accurate, and well documented.
Responsibilities
• Ingest satellite, sensor, lab, and enterprise data at scale
• Build ELT pipelines with lineage, quality checks, and alerts
• Model data for analytics and ML in a warehouse or lakehouse
• Manage orchestration, cost, and performance
• Write documentation that others can depend on
Qualifications
• 4+ years in data engineering or similar role
• Proficiency with SQL and a programming language such as Python
• Experience with orchestration and modern warehouses
• Strong habits around testing, versioning, and observability
